The Ole Miss Rebels have scheduled the Boise State Broncos for their 2011 home opener, the school announced today. The game will be played on September 3, 2011 at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford.
This will be the first ever meeting between the Rebels of the SEC and the Broncos of the WAC. It is a single game and will not be a home-and-home series. According to ClarionLedger.com, Boise State will receive a payment of $900,000.
Ole Miss also has 2011 non-conference games scheduled at home against Southern Illinois and at Fresno State.
Boise State’s 2011 non-conference lineup includes home games against Tulsa, Utah and Wyoming and a road game against Toledo.
