It’s amazing how every single year Notre Dame is the team that turns out to be most overrated team and yet voters do the exact same thing the next year.

Agreed.
The fighting Irish are the most consistently overrated in the preseason top 25 with a bunch of other Trust Five Conference Schools coming in a close 2nd & 3rd to each Other for the “Year before leftover top 25 overrated Schools”.

Each of you professional Sports Industrial Complex corporate Reporters, sports writers, sports “journalists”, knows who you are, without your under performing preseason Franchise Picks being named.

FB sports reference Records of previous 1-A fbs Seasons show who’s underperforming time after time, ad nauseum.

I’d like to see a table of Preseason and Postseason rankings for Notre Dame for the past 50 years.

Beginning with the BCS system in 1998…..Notree Dammitt has played in eight(8) BIG/New Year’s Six games, and….guess what?….the Irish are 0-8!!!! not won a single bowl game of note! The Irish have a ‘golden egg/parachute’ situation with NBC, and I expect them to stay an Independent for several more years.
