The College Football Playoff 2020 New Year’s Six was officially announced by the College Football Playoff selection committee on Sunday.
New Year’s Six bowl game matchups announced this afternoon include the Goodyear Cotton Bowl (Florida vs. Oklahoma), Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl (Georgia vs. Cincinnati), PlayStation Fiesta Bowl (Oregon vs. Iowa State), and Capital One Orange Bowl (North Carolina vs. Texas A&M).
Earlier today, the College Football Playoff Selection Committee announced the semifinal pairings. No. 1 Alabama will face No. 4 Notre Dame in the Rose Bowl Game, which has been moved to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and No. 2 Clemson will take on No. Ohio State in the Allstate Sugar Bowl in New Orleans, La. Both semifinal games are slated for Friday, Jan. 1, 2021.
The Goodyear Cotton Bowl will be played on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020 at 8:00pm ET, two days prior to the semifinal games. The Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 1, 2021 at 12:00pm ET, just a few hours before the first College Football Playoff Semifinal begins.
The PlayStation Fiesta Bowl and the Capital One Orange Bowl are both scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, at 4:00pm ET and 8:00pm ET, respectively.
The College Football Playoff National Championship is set for Monday, Jan. 11, 2021 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla. The game will be televised by ESPN at 8:00pm ET.
