Yale announces 2021 football schedule

The Yale Bulldogs have announced their fall 2021 football schedule, which features a contest at UConn.

Yale opens the 2021 season with a non-conference game at home at the Yale Bowl in New Haven, Conn., on Saturday, Sept. 18 against the Holy Cross Crusaders. Other non-conference contests include Lehigh on Oct. 2 and UConn on Oct. 16, both on the road.

Yale is scheduled to open Ivy League action on Sept. 25 at home against Cornell. Other Ivy League opponents scheduled to visit New Haven this fall include Penn on Oct. 23, Columbia on Oct. 30, and Harvard on Nov. 20.

The Bulldogs will travel to face Ivy League foes Dartmouth on Oct. 9, Brown on Nov. 6, and Princeton on Nov. 13.

“Team No. 148 is excited for the 2021 season,” said Yale head coach Tony Reno. “We will continue to focus ourselves and improve everyday individually, and collectively as a team, as we ready for preseason camp.”

Yale did not play during the 2020-21 season following the cancellation of Ivy League play. The Bulldogs closed out the 2019 season with a 50-43 double-overtime win over Harvard to earn a share of the Ivy League championship.
