The Wagner Seahawks have announced their 2020 football schedule, which features a game at the Miami Hurricanes.
Wagner will open the 2020 season with a Northeast Conference (NEC) contest on the road against the Central Connecticut Blue Devils on Saturday, Sept. 5.
The following week on Sept. 12, Wagner opens their non-conference slate at the Miami Hurricanes. Wagner continues non-conference action the following week on Sept. 19 when they open their home slate at Wagner College Stadium in Staten Island, N.Y., against the Merrimack Warriors for Homecoming.
After an open date on Sept. 26, Wagner plays their final two non-conference contests of the season, first at the Monmouth Hawks on Oct. 3. That’s followed by a visit from the Fordham Rams on Oct. 10.
The remainder of Wagner’s 2020 football schedule is all NEC contests that rotate home and away — vs. Duquesne (Oct. 17), at Robert Morris (Oct. 24), vs. Saint Francis U. (Oct. 31), at LIU (Nov. 7), vs. Sacred Heart (Nov. 14), and at Bryant (Nov. 21).

Wagner enters the 2020 season under new head coach Tom Masella. Masella replaced Jason Houghtaling, who was fired after compiling an overall record of 16-40 and 11-20 in Northeast Conference play in his five seasons.
