The UMass Minutemen have officially announced their 2021 football schedule, which includes six home contests.
UMass will open the 2021 season on the road against the Pitt Panthers on Saturday, Sept. 4 at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, Pa.
The Minutemen open their home slate with back-to-back contests at McGuirk Alumni Stadium in Amherst, Mass., beginning with the Boston College Eagles on Sept. 11 (Hall of Fame Celebration). The Eastern Michigan Eagles visit the following week on Sept. 18 for Front Line Heroes Day.
UMass then travels to take on the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers on Sept. 25 before returning home to host consecutive games against the Toledo Rockets on Oct. 2 for Family Weekend and the UConn Minutemen on Oct. 9 for Band Day.
After their only open date of the season on Oct. 16, UMass plays consecutive road contests at the Florida State Seminoles on Oct. 23 and at the Liberty Flames on Oct. 30.
Back-to-back games at McGuirk Alumni Stadium are up next as the Minutemen host the Rhode Island Rams on Nov. 6 for Homecoming and the Maine Black Bears on Nov. 13 for Senior Day.
UMass closes out the 2021 regular-season with consecutive games on the road at the Army Black Knights on Nov. 20 and at the New Mexico State Aggies on Nov. 27.
