Director of Athletics Bubba Cunnigham has announced the Tulsa Golden Hurricane non-conference football schedule through 2015.
A game at Arkansas highlights the future opponents for Tulsa. The Golden Hurricane will travel to face the Razorbacks on Nov. 3, 2012. The two schools have met 71 times in their history, but haven’t played since 2003. Arkansas leads the series 52-16-3 and has won 17 in a row.
Tulsa opens the 2012 season at Iowa State on Aug. 30. They also have home games against Nicholls State on Sept. 15 and Fresno State on Sept. 22.
In 2013, the Golden Hurricane begin a two-for-one series with the Oklahoma Sooners. Tulsa plays at Oklahoma in 2013 and 2015 and hosts the Sooners in 2014. The two schools, separated by 128 miles, have only met 24 times. Oklahoma leads the overall series 16-7-1.
