The Tulsa Golden Hurricane have released their 2011 football schedule, which includes games against Boise State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Houston, Marshall, SMU and UCF.
Tulsa opens the 2011 season on the road with a non-conference game against the Oklahoma Sooners on September 3. On September 17, the Golden Hurricane hosts Oklahoma State at Skelly Field at H.A. Chapman Stadium.
The following week, Tulsa travels to face the Boise State Broncos on their blue turf. The final non-conference game for Tulsa is against North Texas at home on October 1.
The Golden Hurricane begin Conference USA play on September 10 at the Louisiana Superdome against the Tulane Green Wave. The remainder of Tulsa’s conference schedule includes UAB (10/15), at Rice (10/22), SMU (10/29), at UCF (11/05), Marshall (11/12), at UTEP (11/19) and Houston (11/26).
The Conference USA Championship Game will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011 and will be hosted by the team with the highest winning percentage in conference play.
