The Southern Illinois Salukis have announced their 2020 football schedule, which includes five contests at home.

Southern Illinois is slated to open the 2020 season with back-to-back non-conference contests on the road. SIU visits UT Martin on Thursday, Sept. 3 and Wisconsin on Saturday, Sept. 12.
The War for the Wheel contest against Southeast Missouri on Sept. 19 at home at Saluki Stadium in Carbondale, Ill., closes out the non-conference portion of Southern Illinois’ 2020 schedule.
After an open date on Sept. 26, Southern Illinois opens their Missouri Valley Football Conference (MVFC) schedule at home against Northern Iowa on Oct. 3 for Family Weekend.
Other home MVFC opponents for Southern Illinois in 2020 include South Dakota State (Oct. 24; Homecoming), Indiana State (Nov. 7; Military Appreciation Day), and Western Illinois (Nov. 14; Senior Day).
Road MVFC opponents for the Salukis in 2020 include Illinois State (Oct. 10), Missouri State (Oct. 17), Youngstown State (Oct. 31), and North Dakota (Nov. 21).

Southern Illinois wrapped up their 2019 schedule with a 21-7 loss at home against eventual national champion North Dakota State. The Salukis finished with a 7-5 overall record and a 5-3 record in MVFC play.
