Six American Athletic Conference football games rescheduled

Six American Athletic Conference football games that were postponed have been rescheduled, it was announced on Friday.

The games were postponed earlier this season due to issues surrounding the novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, including positive tests and the resulting contact tracing.

Games that were rescheduled include Memphis at Navy, Houston at SMU, Memphis at Tulane, Tulsa at Navy, Cincinnati at Tulsa, and Houston at Memphis.

The 2020 American Athletic Conference Football Championship is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 19 and will be hosted by the team with the best winning percentage in conference games.

Below is the updated American Athletic Conference football schedule for the remainder of the 2020 season. Updated games are in italics.

Saturday, Nov. 21
East Carolina at Temple – Noon, ESPN+
Stephen F. Austin at Memphis – Noon, ESPN+
Cincinnati at UCF – 3:30pm, ESPN

Friday, Nov. 27
UCF at USF – 3:30pm, ESPN

Saturday, Nov. 28
SMU at East Carolina – Noon, ESPN+
Cincinnati at Temple
Memphis at Navy
Tulsa at Houston

Saturday, Dec. 5
Houston at SMU
Memphis at Tulane
Tulsa at Navy

Saturday, Dec. 12
Navy at Army – 3pm, CBS
Cincinnati at Tulsa
Houston at Memphis
