The Saint Francis Red Flash have released their 2019 football schedule (via FCS STATS), which includes five home and seven road games.

The season starts Aug. 31 with a trip to fellow Pennsylvania foe Lehigh, followed by another road tilt in Harrisonburg, Virginia, against James Madison on Sept. 7. Merrimack and Columbia will visit the Red Flash in Loretto, Pennsylvania, on Sept. 14 and 21. The Northeast Conference slate fires up for the Red Flash on Sept. 28 with a trip to Bryant.

An open date starts October, followed by Robert Morris visiting DeGol Field on Oct. 12. The Red Flash then treks to Long Island on Oct. 19. Sacred Heart then closes the month with an Oct. 26 visit.

November begins with road outings at Duquesne (Nov. 2) and Central Connecticut State (Nov. 9). Wagner closes the home portion of the slate on Nov. 16, with the season finale at MEAC opponent Delaware State on Nov. 23.

The Red Flash finished 2018 with a 4-7 record (2-4 NEC). The school made its lone FCS playoff appearance in 2016.
