The Oregon State Beavers and the San Diego State Aztecs have scheduled a home-and-home football series for 2023 and 2026, both schools announced on Thursday.
In the first game of the series, Oregon State will host San Diego State at Reser Stadium in Corvallis on Sept. 16, 2023. The Beavers will then travel to face the Aztecs in San Diego on Sept. 19, 2026.
Oregon State and San Diego State have met on the gridiron five times. The Beavers have won three straight in the series and now lead 3-2.
San Diego State is the second announced non-conference opponent for Oregon State in 2023 and first in 2026. OSU is also scheduled to travel to Boise State on Sept. 2, 2023.
The Aztecs now have two announced non-conference games in both 2023 and 2026. SDSU’s other opponent those seasons is UCLA, at home on Sept. 23, 2023 and away on Sept. 12, 2026.
With the addition of Oregon State, San Diego State now has nine future home-and-home series scheduled against Pac-12 teams: Arizona State (2017-18, 2027-28), Stanford (2017-18), UCLA (2019-20, 2023 & 2026), Arizona (2021-22), Utah (2021-22), and Washington State (2024-25).

This reminds me to keep an eye on where the Aztecs are gonna play their home games by the time Oregon State has to go to San Diego.
This is a good series for both teams.
