North Carolina A&T announces 2019 football schedule

The North Carolina A&T Aggies have announced their 2019 football schedule, which features a game at Duke.

North Carolina A&T will open the 2019 season at home at BB&T Stadium in Greensboro against the Elon Phoenix on Saturday, Aug. 31.

The following week on Sept. 7, the Aggies travel to take on the Duke Blue Devils. North Carolina A&T closes out their non-conference schedule on Sept. 14 on the road at the Charleston Southern Buccaneers.

Following their first open date of the season, North Carolina A&T opens Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) play at home against the Delaware State Hornets on Sept. 28. The Aggies then travel for consecutive contests at the Norfolk State Spartans on Oct. 5 and, after their second off week, at the Florida A&M Rattlers on Oct. 19.

North Carolina A&T returns home to host the Howard Bison on Oct. 26. The Aggies then have back-to-back road games again, this time at the South Carolina State Bulldogs on Nov. 2 and the Morgan State Bears on Nov. 9.

The Aggies close out the 2019 regular-season with consecutive games at BB&T Stadium. North Carolina A&T hosts the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats on Nov. 16 and the North Carolina Central Eagles on Nov. 23.

North Carolina A&T finished the 2018 season with a 24-22 win over Alcorn State in the Air Force Reserve Celebration Bowl. That gave the Aggies a 10-win season, finishing 10-2 overall and 6-1 in MEAC play.
