The Nicholls Colonels have announced their fall 2021 football schedule, which includes five games at home.

Nicholls opens the 2021 season with three straight non-conference games, beginning on the road at Memphis on Sept. 4 and at Louisiana on Sept. 11.

Following an open date, the Colonels open their home slate at John L. Guidry Stadium in Thibodaux, La., against North Alabama on Sept. 25, which completes their fall non-conference action.

Due to five teams departing the conference this season, the remaining Southland members will each play three in-season home-and-homes with fellow members and two other single games against the remaining teams.

Nicholls will play home-and-home series with Southland foes Houston Baptist (Oct. 2 home; Oct. 23 away), Southeastern Louisiana (Oct. 9 home; Nov. 18 away), and UIW (Oct. 16 away; Nov. 13 home).

Remaining Southland contests for Nicholls this fall include Northwestern State at home on Oct. 30 and McNeese on the road on Nov. 6.
