The Montana Grizzlies have added the Central Washington Wildcats to their 2027 football schedule, the program announced Thursday.

Montana will host Central Washington at Washington–Grizzly Stadium in Missoula on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2027, marking the fifth all‑time meeting between the programs. The Grizzlies won the most recent matchup earlier this season, a 42–17 victory that extended their series lead to 3–0.

Central Washington competes in the Lone Star Conference at the Division II level. The Wildcats reached the Division II playoffs last season before falling 27–20 at home to No. 15 Western Colorado in the opening round.

With the addition of Central Washington, Montana has finalized its non‑conference slate for 2027. The Grizzlies open non‑league play at home against Lehigh on Sept. 4 and host West Florida on Sept. 18.

Montana will begin the 2027 campaign on Aug. 28 against a Big Sky opponent, the first of nine conference games.

The Griz currently sit at 5–1 overall (3–0 Big Sky) and are ranked No. 2 in the STATS FCS Top 25 and No. 3 in the FCS Coaches Poll. Montana next visits Northern Arizona on Saturday, Oct. 10 (5pm ET, Scripps Sports).

Looking ahead, Montana has future games scheduled against Monmouth and UIW in 2028, South Dakota State and UIW in 2029, and UTRGV in 2030-31.
