The Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils have announced their fall 2021 football schedule, which features six home contests.

Mississippi Valley State opens the fall 2021 season with two consecutive road non-conference contests, beginning at Murray State on Saturday, Sept. 4. Following an open date, the Delta Devils travel to take on Stephen F. Austin on Sept. 18.

MVSU’s third and final non-conference contest is at home at Rice-Totten Stadium in Itta Bena, Miss., against North Carolina Central on Oct. 2.

The Delta Devils open Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) action at home on Sept. 25 against Southern. Other home SWAC opponents include Alcorn State (Oct. 16), Florida A&M (Oct. 23), Jackson State (Oct. 30), and Alabama State (Nov. 13).

Mississippi Valley State will travel to face SWAC foes Bethune-Cookman on Oct. 9, Alabama A&M on Nov. 6, and Prairie View A&M on Nov. 27.

Mississippi Valley State finished the spring 2021 SWAC season 1-3 in conference action. The Delta Devils defeated Alcorn State via a forfeit and fell to Jackson State, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, and Alabama State.
