The Long Island Sharks have announced their 2020 football schedule, which includes four home games and 11 contests overall.
Long Island University (LIU) will open the 2020 season on Saturday, Sept. 5 with a non-conference contest on the road against the Montana State Bobcats.
The following week on Sept. 12, LIU opens Northeast Conference (NEC) action at home at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium in Brookville, N.Y., against the Sacred Heart Pioneers.
Long Island then begins a rare four-game road swing at the Delaware Blue Hens on Sept. 19. That’s followed by contests at Lehigh (Sept. 26), at Bryant (Oct. 3), and at Merrimack (Oct. 10).
The Sharks return to Brookville to host Robert Morris on Oct. 17. After an open date on Oct. 24, LIU travels to take on Duquesne on Oct. 31.
November begins with back-to-back road contests as the Wagner Seahawks and the Saint Francis (Pa.) Red Flash both visit Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium on Nov. 7 and Nov. 14, respectively.
LIU closes out their 2020 regular-season schedule on Nov. 21 on the road against the Central Connecticut Blue Devils.

LIU moved up to the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) last season. The Sharks finished the 2019 season 0-10 overall and 0-7 in conference action.
