The Jacksonville State Gamecocks have announced that they have scheduled a football game with the Florida Gators in 2012. The exact date of the game was not announced.
This will be the first meeting between the Gamecocks of the Ohio Valley Conference (FCS) and the Gators of the SEC. Jacksonville State has been in the process of upgrading their schedule the last few years, playing Mississippi State in 2002 and 2006 and facing Ole Miss in 2010.

Look at their 2009 schedule, they play Charleston Southern, Troy and Florida International.
