ESPN, the World Wide Commissioner of all sports, won’t move the time frame for the start of the Alabama/Georgia game because they have it on national television. Hopefully it’s a nonissue and they are putting anyone in danger, but damn everything for primetime ratings.

Neither school and their coaches want to delay the game to Sunday because both Bama and UGa have rivalry games the next weekend (and don’t want a shortened week).

As AL is in the CT time zone, they could conceivably delay the local kickoff at 6:30 by an hour or 2, though I don’t know how much that would help if emergency personnel have to deal with the aftermath of a hurricane.

Schools all around Statesboro, GA are moving games up 6 hours to avoid inclement weather. The Game Day weather person said he was the most concerned about this game with possible tornado’s. James Madison @ G Southern is not moving their 7:30 game up 6 or more hours.

eSECpn under it’s master Mickey Mouse Network Unless the storm Stops in middle of AL would move a High Profit/Ratings game for Nothing!!! Don’t Give Crap what Fans have to go thru, they already have their ticket Money & if major power outages they hope make it up with National Audience!!! Greedy Bastards!!!

You don’t read comments, do you
Guess I have to copy and paste:

I remain patient & calm throughout the situation & very blessed & happy that Georgia & Alabama did get to play; it was an excellent, hard-fought game.
