Featured college football games – 2009, Week 8

Week eight of the 2009 college football season features more pivotal conference games. Listed below are the games with TV times and ticket options:

  • Florida State at North Carolina – Thurs., Oct. 22, 2009
    Two struggling teams face off in primetime on Thursday night. The game will be televised by ESPN at 8:00 p.m. ET.
  • Boston College at Notre Dame – Sat., Oct. 24, 2009
    The overall series is tied at 9 games each. The game will be televised by NBC at 3:30 p.m. ET.
  • Penn State at Michigan – Sat., Oct. 24, 2009
    Michigan leads the overall series 10-4. The game will be televised by ABC/ESPN at 3:30 p.m. ET.
  • Tennessee at Alabama – Sat., Oct. 24, 2009
    New UT head coach Lane Kiffin faces the Tide for the first time. The game will be televised by CBS at 3:30 p.m. ET.
  • Auburn at LSU – Sat., Oct. 24, 2009
    LSU leads the overall series 23-19-1. The game will be televised by ESPN or ESPN2 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
  • Florida at Mississippi State – Sat., Oct. 24, 2009
    The No. 1 Gators face Dan Mullen, their former offensive coordinator. The game will be televised by ESPN or ESPN2 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
  • Oregon State at USC – Sat., Oct. 24, 2009
    The Trojans look to avenge last years loss to the Beavers. The game will be televised by ABC at 8:00 p.m. ET.
