The Colorado State Rams and the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders have scheduled a home-and-home football series for 2022 and 2023, both schools announced on Thursday.
In the first game of the series, Colorado State will host Middle Tennessee at Canvas Stadium in Fort Collins on Sept. 10, 2022. The Rams will meet the Blue Raiders at Johnny “Red” Floyd Stadium in Murfreesboro on Sept. 23, 2022.
The 2022 contest between Colorado State and Middle Tennessee will be the first-ever meeting on the gridiron between the two schools.
Colorado State now has three non-conference games scheduled for both the 2022 and 2023 seasons and only need one more in each.
In 2022, the Rams are scheduled to travel to both Michigan on Sept. 3 and Washington State on Sept. 17. CSU’s 2023 non-conference schedule includes a game at home against Washington State on Sept. 2 and a trip to take on in-state rival Colorado in Boulder on Sept. 16.
Colorado State is the second announced non-conference opponent for Middle Tennessee in 2022 and 2023. The Blue Raiders are also slated to host Missouri on Sept. 17, 2022 and travel to take on the Tigers in Columbia the following season on Sept. 9, 2023.
Colorado State also announced today that they will host the South Dakota State Jackrabbits on Sept. 4, 2021. That matchup was announced by SDSU back in 2017.
