College football schedule: TV selections for Oct 6, 2018

Every Monday, the five power conferences announce their football TV schedule for the weekend after next. Some selections are also made by the American, C-USA, MAC, MWC, and Sun Belt.

Today, college football schedule selections will be announced for the weekend of Oct. 6, 2018. A few games could be held under the six-day option. If held, those game times and/or TV will be finalized on Sunday, Sept. 30.

They need to install permanent lights at the Cotton Bowl so that the Red River Game can be played at night it’s one of the few notable stadiums that doesn’t have them yet
