FOOTBALL SCHEDULES
- College Football Schedule (FBS)
- College Football TV Schedule (FBS & FCS)

USC-Wisconsin deserves to be on FOX Big Noon Saturday.
Indiana-Michigan would be very nice for either 3:30PM or 7:30PM.
playing in the noon (11am) window is not a reward.
@Bill especially if it is Michigan-Ohio State.
I don’t think it is fair that Fox always gets that game when CBS and NBC have been around a lot longer.
To put it precisely, when I was born in 1990, CBS and NBC were senior citizens (including their time only as radio networks), while Fox was a toddler.
I think rotating the game among the three networks and their respective time slots is a fair compromise, a better one than the one that allowed Art Modell to take the Cleveland Browns’ personnel to Baltimore to form the Ravens in 1996 while the Browns were forced to start from scratch in 1999, something the Browns have not recovered from to this day.
Sorry to be negative to you, Z-Man. Z-Man is by far more miffed than CBS & NBC about Michigan-Ohio State.
CBS & NBC are excellent with Saturday games on Thanksgiving weekend for example CBS televises Illinois-Northwestern & NBC televises Washington-Oregon.
FOX does not want to televise Illinois-Northwestern or Big 12 games, for example Kansas-Oklahoma State on Big Noon Saturday. FOX wants to televise Michigan-Ohio State no matter what records show for two of the most storied Big Ten teams.
Well if CBS was airing UM-OSU at 3:30 this year Indiana-Purdue could be on Big Noon for the first time ever which is good given the sudden rise of Indiana.
Z-Man, Michigan-Ohio State is much more suitable for Big Noon than Purdue-Indiana although Purdue-Indiana would be excellent for either a late afternoon or evening time slot.
I also want to back up my point about the Browns and Ravens.
Let’s look at the first 27 seasons in which they have co-existed (1999-2025):
Ravens:
Winning seasons: 18
Losing seasons: 6
Playoff appearances: 15
Consecutive losing seasons at any point: No
Miss the playoffs despite winning at least 60% of games: No
Super Bowl titles: Yes (2000, 2012)
Browns:
Winning seasons: 4
Losing seasons: 23
Playoff appearances: 3
Consecutive losing seasons at any point: Yes (1999-2001, 2003-2006. 2008-19 [which is a team record including 0-16 in 2017], 2021-22, 2024-25)
Miss the playoffs despite winning at least 60% of games: Yes (2007)
Super Bowl titles: No
This shows how awful the compromise was for the Browns, while being great for the Ravens.
Meanwhile having Fox, CBS, and NBC take turns airing UM-OSU in their respective time slots would be very fair and much better than the compromise detailed above. It’s also a better idea than the NBA play-in games, which cost another Cleveland team, the Cavaliers, dearly in 2022.
Z-Man, again sorry to discipline you this compromise between FOX, CBS & NBC & Michigan-Ohio State should NEVER be posted again.
Everybody including me, has to repeat it many times that Michigan-Ohio State will ALWAYS kickoff at high noon whether you are favored or opposed.
Not wanting UM-OSU to rotate among the networks and their respective time slots is like wanting FBS to go back to using the BCS to determine a national champion.
Going from the BCS to the CFP was progress, as was expanding the CFP to 12 with further expansion possibly on the horizon.
The networks taking turns airing UM-OSU would likewise be progress.
Z-Man Michigan-Ohio State kickoff at either 3:30PM or 7:30PM is a major distraction, and it would not help the long & storied rivalry plus It will be destroyed & noon kickoff is a must to protect Big Ten best rivalry in Football.
Furthermore Z-Man, There is zero compromise in any sport, especially college football.
Purdue and Washington play each other Friday night. They are not off this weekend.
I really enjoy big Ten playing on Friday evening & only minor solution is I want either BTN or FS1 to do Big Ten games when FOX has the World Series.
This post is for next weekend, the weekend of the 24th.
I have a solution to Big Ten games Week 10 11/7.
FOX & NBC show Noon kickoffs.
CBS does the usual 3:30PM kickoff.
FS1 show 3:30PM & 7:00PM or 7;30PM kickoffs
BTN show 3:30PM & 8:00PM kickoffs
Note: The huge showdown with Miami at Notre Dame will have a 7:30PM kickoff.
