If they were to play Red River Rivalry at night they will have to shut down fair at 8:00PM-8:30PM to protect the public from rowdiness at game.

UT-OU make a great night game.

Fans would behave as well as they do at any other rivalry game.

To suggest otherwise is ridiculous.

SEC! SEC! SEC! I care about other people especially children in addition to college football fans.

Texas-Oklahoma is fantastic however Texas State Fair is about bringing the entire state for special event that is welcome to public.

Oh, it’s about the children.

Plenty of children at games that start at 8 all over the country. Why can’t the children in Dallas stay out late?

What a dumb argument. It’s okay for children to go see Alabama and Georgia. It’s okay for children to go to USC and UCLA. But the children in Texas must be in bed by 6pm every night?

Do you even think about the things you post?

SEC! SEC! SEC! Main reason why I want the Fair to end at 8:00PM Should Red River Rivalry play at night to avoid very massive traffic jams at Texas State Fair plus I want to make it convenient for both Fair goers & Texas & Oklahoma fans.

I wouldn’t take children to BYU-Utah. Far too intense for anyone under the age of 12 to attend in person. Even at LaVell Edwards stadium which is perhaps the most child friendly stadium and environment in college football.

The children are fine. I get it. You’re a spoiled SEC fan who doesn’t have to deal with late night games because ESECPN caters to your every want and need and cannot comprehend playing that late. when Hunter Yurachek was complaining about late night games I was rolling my eyes like never before. We out here in the west have been dealing with it for decades and have even come to love it at least at the stadium. Late night games are an experience to go to if a little painful to watch on TV because of how late it is. It sure beats a day game though for the stadium environment although even for that I would prefer a 6:00 pm kickoff because it’s still night but not as late. It is still extra time for the team to prepare for Notre Dame which is still an advantage. That would actually be a game I would want an 8:15 pm kickoff but the latest it could probably be is 6:00 pm because Notre Dame is a spoiled child.
