College football rankings: Week 8, 2018

College football rankings for week 8 have been released. Alabama remains the top-ranked team, while LSU and Michigan made big jumps in the polls.

LSU, which upset then No. 2 Georgia 36-16 in Baton Rouge, moved up eight spots in the AP Poll to No. 5 and up seven spots in the Coaches Poll to No. 5.

The Michigan Wolverines went on the road and defeated then No. 15 Wisconsin 38-13. The win moved the Wolverines up six spots in the AP Poll to No. 6 and up six spots in the Coaches Poll to No. 7.

Iowa (19th), Michigan State (24th), and Washington State (25th) all moved into the AP Poll, while Miami, Colorado, and Auburn all dropped out.

In the FCS Coaches Poll, North Dakota State remains No. 1 with all 26 first-place votes. Kennesaw State, South Dakota State, Jacksonville State, and James Madison round out the top five.

That much luv for Michigan moved them up to number #6, WOW!
Michigan did not go on the road for this game, they were in Ann Arbor but glad to see they’re getting luv I guess, lets see if it will last. Tough games ahead of them.
