By Brian Wilmer -

College football rankings for week 14 of the 2019 season have been released. LSU remained in first-place, while Utah climbed to sixth in both polls behind the unchanged top five.

The top-ranked and undefeated LSU Tigers maintained their grasp on the top spot with a 56-20 victory over Arkansas. The Tigers close out the regular season with Texas A&M on Nov. 30.

The top five in both the AP and Coaches polls remain the same as last week: (1) LSU, (2) Ohio State, (3) Clemson, (4) Georgia, and (5) Alabama. Utah moved up to number six in both polls following a dominant, 35-7, performance against Arizona. The Utes ascended one spot in the AP and two spots in the Coaches’ Poll. Oregon slipped seven spots in the Coaches’ Poll and eight in the AP following a 31-28 loss to Arizona State.

Three teams received first-place votes in the AP and Coaches polls this week. LSU leads the way with 50 in the AP and 52 in the Coaches, followed by Ohio State (9 AP, 7 Coaches) and Clemson (3 AP, 4 Coaches).

Not a fan of either, but the Cincy and Memphis rankings swap is hilarious.

Memphis (10-1) jumps Cincy. Memphis only loss to Temple.

Cincy (10-1) drops below Memphis. Only loss is to Ohio State. Got punished in the rankings for barely beating, guess who, TEMPLE!! You know, the only team to beat Memphis!

I guess we’ll find out the true ranking later this week!
