College Football Playoff Rankings for Nov. 20 released

The College Football Playoff Rankings for Nov. 20, 2018 have been released by the selection committee, and the Top 8 remains unchanged from last week.

Alabama remains in first place, and the Crimson Tide are again followed by (2) Clemson, (3) Notre Dame, (4) Michigan, (5) Georgia, (6) Oklahoma, (7) LSU, and (8) Washington State.

UCF, which moved up two spots and leaped over Ohio State, is the first team from a Group of Five conference to ever be ranked in the CFP Top 10.

Texas A&M (22) and Pitt (24) both entered the rankings this week, while Boston College (20) and Cincinnati (24) each dropped out.

The College Football Playoff Selection Committee will release one more set of Top 25 rankings on Tuesday, Nov. 27.

On Sunday, Dec. 2, the College Football Playoff Selection Committee will announce the Playoff Semifinal pairings and semifinal bowl assignments. Those will be followed by the pairings for the remainder of the New Year’s Six bowl games.
