Once again winning a Power 5 Conference championship and having a MORE relevant resume than a team that SNOOZED against the very same IRRELEVANT opponent they have owned and are the reason why that team has been in those championship shot talks DOESN’T COUNT FOR ANYTHING.I’M FROM THE SOUTH,THE VERY STATE WHERE 1 school is representing in the CFP,I know what’s going on.The SEC is been proven WEAK lately,.I am Michigan or OHIO STATE,I would aligning my ethical Boosters and initiate splitting up the Big Ten to cut down the size of the SEC,get a Michigan State,Wisconsin,Northwestern,Maryland,Purdue,Minnesota join the 99% and invite schools of caliber like KENTUCKY,SOUTH CAROLINA,CINCINNATI,and TEMPLE to KANSAS,SYRACUSE,VIRGINIA TECH,and MEMPHIS.Let the B1G progress as a league of 10 again inviting MISSOURI,COLORADO,TEXAS,even add non-AAU schools like Notre Dame,Oklahoma plus their bedlam rival OKLAHOMA STATE,and LOUISVILLE with their conference football championship!!!
What a lengthy, nonsensical, patently jumbled, poorly typed, grammatically challenged diatribe from JR. Obviously, happy with extra strength are being served wherever JR Alice is located. Is there any one out there who can translaate this mismash?
Yep, there is a lot going on in that tantrum, I read it once & took some aspirin after words.
why is the standard PDF still not filled out? It still has conference/conference or at-large/at-large — no teams !!!
It was filled out and uploaded Monday morning. Clear your browser cache and download again.
JR Alice forget his/her meds it appears. Bowl committee had a very challenging task to identify the best four teams in the country. I would be a proponent of expanding to six teams giving top 2 teams a bye. Alabama’s opponents records were not as strong as in past years. However, other facts of interest. First, out-of-conference percent wins:
SEC 81%, Big 10 77%, PAC12 76%, ACC 71%, Big 12 67%. Second, SEC West 65%, ACC Atlantic (Clemson) 61%, BIG 10 East 60%, PAC 12 South 58%. The SEC remains a very strong conference and the SEC West in particular. Time will tell if the committee made a good decision. But as a diehard college football fan I will not only enjoy the CFP games, I will enjoy USC v OSU, Penn St v Washington, WI v Miami, Auburn v UCF and many other games as well. And most teams will take home a good paycheck to help their schools in the future.
Alabama can never be a true conf. champion until they beat all the other conference teams there is no reason they should not play them if there are too many teams then remove some teams to another conference
