The Auburn Tigers have announced their four non-conference games for next season, which officially completes their 2013 schedule.
Auburn will open the 2013 season at home against Washington State on Aug. 31. The following week, Arkansas State will visit Jordan-Hare Stadium. The Red Wolves are led by former Auburn offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn.
The final two non-conference games for Auburn are also at home: Oct. 12 vs. Western Carolina and Oct. 26 vs. Florida Atlantic.
The Tigers were initially slated to face Jacksonville State, but the game was cancelled due to scheduling conflict. Auburn will play JSU a $500,000 buyout fee.
Auburn’s 2013 SEC schedule, which was announced earlier this month, features home games against Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Georgia, and Alabama. Due to the conference needing to balance out the future schedule rotation, Georgia will be making their second straight visit to the plains.
The Tigers will hit the road to face LSU, Texas A&M, Arkansas, and Tennessee.
The 2013 season will include two open weeks. Auburn will be off on Sept. 28, prior to Ole Miss, and Nov. 23, prior to the Iron Bowl against Alabama.

4-8 (0-8 SEC).
depends on the coach
Chiz 4-8 maybe
Petrino 6-6 or 7-5
You sir are a moron and not true diehard fan.You have to be with your team thouhg the good and bad.
U a piece of crap
6-6, I think!
WCU may as well join the SEC. At Auburn in 2002, at Alabama 2004, 2007, 2012 and 2014, at LSU 2000, at Vanderbilt 2009, rumored at Arkansas 2015 and now Auburn again in 2013. This on top of middle tenn and virginia tech.
Typical Auburn non-conference schedule … not one road game!! SEC schools rarely play a road game outside of the conference. LSU seems to be exception.
2012 Auburn played Clemson in Atlanta
2011 Auburn play at Clemson
2008 Auburn played at West Virginia
2003 Auburn played at Georgia Tech
2002 Auburn played at Southern California
2001 Auburn played at Syracuse
that is not to mention that they hosted each of these teams as well as USF, Kansas State and Washington State during this same time span. In 2014 Auburn makes a return trip to Kansas State.
You should have said Florida then you would be correct they never play a non conference game outside of Florida.. Alabama, Tennessee,Georgia and Ole Miss have all played recent away or neutral site games.
Georgia has played recently at Arizona State, at Colorado, and play at Clemson next year.
Sorry, 6 non-conference road games in 12 years isn’t saying much. I think the NCAA should mandate every D-1 A school have to play at least one non-conference road game each year. No one should be able to stack the deck 8 and 4. Then some teams don’t even leave the state to play some conference road games. Leaving just 3 true road games. It’s ridiculous.
Your defense of Dave’s comment PNB is that they will have played 7 road nonconference games (plus a nuetral game) in 14 years?
Rich that is just about how most teams do it… 7 road and 7 home in the course of 14 years. Now if you want to say USC schedules better, you would be correct. Most BCS conference teams only play 1 other BCS team out of conference. LSU played 2 last season. Uga does from time to time when they play someone in addition to Ga tech such as recent games with Oklahoma State, Arizona State etc. But most do not. Look at the past schedules Kevin has listed and see how many schedule more than one.
Congrats,Auburn. You might actually get over 3W
I would love to see Auburn play at Washington instead of in Auburn. I would love to see them play a big ten school on the road like a Michigan or Penn State. Please stop playing schools like Ho Hum University or Helen Keller U! That is why I don’t buy season tickets.
That and the fact all games are on tv are legitimate reasons not to buy season tickets. But I have a reason to buy season tickets that trumps every reason not to… my wife tells me to. WAR EAGLE!
I wonder if some of these idiots that post on Auburns message board worry about there team if they might make better fans!!!!!
I am a big Auburn fan and I believe that hiring Gus Malzahn was a great move. With that being said, seeing the 2013 schedule, I believe that they could win about 7 or 8 games in the 2013 season under Malzahn. War Eagle!
To those bashing SEC schedules, I’m sure many of us would be happy to play a Big 10+2, ACC, Big East, Pac 12 schedule. Get up for two games a year and coast the rest of the year. SEC teams have to show up every week and play real games. Next time your conference runs off 7 national titles in a row, come back and talk about scheduling again.
7-6 Go All in!! War Eagle! I think Auburn going to surprised everybody next year!!
So do you have Auburn winning or losing their bowl game? Cause you counted 13 games, how do you know they will make it to one and you don’t even know who they are playing if they make it to one. good estimate…
Hate all y’all want, but Auburn will be a force to be reckoned with next year! Malzahn has put together a hell of a staff! And I dont know if you guys have seen any footage of freshman QB Ryan Carter or not, but he’s beast! War Damn Eagle!!!
you all still not a winner for 2013 football season you all loser.
8-4 (4-4) sec
Having a game at any of those stadiums would be rediculous. The reason we always play smaller schools at home is cause it generates more money. Thats also why we pay them.
8-4. Gus is turning things around.
9-3 Losing to Alabama, LSU, and Georgia
So you think Auburn will beat Texas A&M? Your a joke
Funny all of you people bash each others school about of is the best! Have you ever strapped on a helmet and been knocked silly by someone!Answer is probably NOT!Your Bashing young men about whether they win or not, true is they are all winners for doing something you only wished you could have experienced! These young men are only 18-21 years of age and you direct hate at them and their team!Winners are those young men and the REAL loser is you!!!!!
OUCH looks like they’re losing their first game, leach has brought in a winning team for wsu…
WAR EAGLE! my daughter is an incoming freshman and I don’t know who is more excited her or me. GO AUBURN!
Roll Tide but 3-9
sheeet, niga b dreamin’
Alabama will lose to Texas A&M again and Auburn will finish 10-2 or better watch WDE!!!
Wow, your old prediction could actually be an underestimation.
Meant “bold” not “old”. But I guess either way works.
7-5 war eagle!
