Army announces 2021 football schedule

The Army West Point Black Knights have officially announced their 2021 football schedule, which includes six games in West Point.

Army opens the 2021 season on Saturday, Sept. 4 on the road against the Georgia State Panthers at Center Parc Stadium in Atlanta, Ga.

The Black Knights open their home schedule at Michie Stadium in West Point, N.Y., on Saturday, Sept. 11 against the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. Army then hosts two more opponents in West Point — the UConn Huskies on Sept. 18 and the Miami (Ohio) RedHawks on Sept. 25.

The Black Knights begin October with consecutive games on the road at the Ball State Cardinals on the 2nd and, after an open date, at the Wisconsin Badgers on Oct. 16.

Army returns to West Point to host the Wake Forest Demon Deacons on Oct. 23 before their second open date of the season on Oct. 30.

On Saturday Nov. 6, Army will play Air Force in the Lockheed Martin Commanders’ Classic at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. The matchup will mark the first-ever college football game played at the new Globe Life Field.

Back-to-back home games at Michie Stadium are up next as the Black Knights host the Bucknell Bison on Nov. 13 and the UMass Minutemen on Nov. 20. Army then travels to take on the Liberty Flames on Nov. 27.

Army closes out the regular-season with the annual Army-Navy Game presented by USAA, which is set for Dec. 11 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.

The Black Knights closed out the 2020 season with a 24-21 loss to West Virginia in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl and finished 9-3 overall.
