The Abilene Christian Wildcats have released their 2020 football schedule, according to a report by STATS PERFORM.

Abilene Christian opens the 2020 season with a non-conference contest on the road against Texas A&M on Sept. 5.

The following week on Sept 12, the Wildcats kick off a string of nine consecutive Southland Conference contests, beginning with Central Arkansas at home at Wildcat Stadium in Abilene, Texas.

Other home Southland Conference contests for ACU in 2020 include Incarnate Word, Nicholls, and Lamar. The Wildcats will travel to take on Southland foes McNeese, Stephen F. Austin, Sam Houston State, Southeastern Louisiana, and Houston Baptist.

Abilene Christian wraps up their non-conference slate and the 2020 regular-season on Nov. 21 with a home contest against Southern Utah.

The Wildcats finished the 2019 season 5-7 overall and 4-5 in Southland Conference action. In three seasons under head coach Adam Dorrel, Abilene Christian has an overall record of 13-21 (11-16 Southland).
