The Bethune-Cookman Wildcats have announced their 2021 football schedule, their first as a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC).
Bethune-Cookman will open the 2021 season with back-to-back non-conference games on the road against the UTEP Miners on Saturday, Sept. 4 and the UCF Knights on Saturday, Sept. 11.
On Saturday, Sept. 18, Bethune-Cookman opens their home schedule at Daytona Stadium in Daytona Beach, Fla., against the Alabama A&M Bulldogs, which is also their first SWAC contest of the season.
B-CU then travels for their first SWAC road contest at Alabama State on Sept. 25 before completing the non-conference portion of their schedule the following week on Oct. 2 at former MEAC foe South Carolina State.
Bethune-Cookman returns to Daytona Beach to host consecutive contests against Mississippi Valley State on Oct. 9 for Homecoming and Prairie View A&M on Oct. 16. The Wildcats close out the month of October at Jackson State on the 23rd before their only open date of the season on Oct. 30.
The Wildcats were previously scheduled to play at the Tarleton State Texans on Oct. 30, but that game was not included on their slate and was replaced by the contest at South Carolina State.
The Alcorn State Braves are slated to visit Daytona Stadium on Nov. 6 for B-CU’s Senior Day. That contest is followed by a road trip to play the Grambling State Tigers on Nov. 13.
The Wildcats close out their 2021 regular-season schedule against Florida A&M on Nov. 20 in the Florida Blue Florida Classic at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla.
