College football rankings for week 5 of the 2020 season have been released. Clemson remains the top-ranked team, while Miami moved into the top 10.
Clemson (2-0), which was off this weekend, remains atop both the AP and Coaches polls. The Tigers received 55 of the 62 first-place votes in the AP Poll and 42 of the 48 first-place votes in the Coaches Poll.
Alabama (1-0), Florida (1-0), Georgia (1-0), and Notre Dame (2-0) round out the Top 5 in both polls.
The six through ten spots in the both polls are also the same: (6) Ohio State, (7) Auburn, (8) Miami, (9) Texas, and (10) Penn State.
The Miami Hurricanes (3-0), which blew out in-state rival Florida State 52-10 on Saturday, jumped four spots in the AP Poll to No. 8 and six spots in the Coaches Poll to No. 8.

It is a joke that any Pac12 school is included. They are only playing 1/2 of a season, 6 games plus a meaningless cross division game on December 19th. They don’t even start until the month after next. Their season is too short to be included in the playoff talk. Their commissioner , Larry Scott is paid 5 millon/year and just got a 2 million dollar bonus after laying off half of the Pac 12 staff. He must have incriminating pictures of his bosses to keep his job.
