The Sun Belt should add Eastern Kentucky and Stephen F. Austin in 2025 so that these games can be on Thanksgiving weekend:

Appalachian State-Coastal Carolina
Arkansas State-Southern Miss
Eastern Kentucky-Marshall
Georgia Southern-Georgia State
James Madison-Old Dominion
Louisiana-ULM
South Alabama-Troy
Stephen F. Austin-Texas State

Why would a conference with a membership that averages ~$35 million per school in athletic revenue want to add two schools that generate a revenue stream of approximately 60% ($21 million) that value?

ans: They wouldn’t!!

If your going to play juggle-the-schools, instead have the same two schools join Conference USA with the rivalry games being Stephen F. Austin-Sam Houston and Eastern Kentucky-Western Kentucky.

In truth, it’s not that simple. Please don’t extend this thread.

If ESPN, which owns the Sun Belt’s media rights, wants this then they shall have it.

In fact I’m fairly certain ESPN wants every FBS conference to embrace Thanksgiving week as rivalry week. Makes for good TV ratings.

Z-Man I greatly appreciate it if you stop acting rude to other people & 114% do very to be nice to others at fbschedule.com even if they do not agree with me & something you need to work on being polite to others.

Five straight games in Atlanta, and then four straight road games for Georgia State. That’s…a choice…

Here is Dan’s dream Sun Belt Football schedule for Week 10 Tuesday 10/29 Louisiana at Texas State 8:00PM,ESPN2 Saturday 11/2 Georgia State at UConn 3:30PM,CBSSN Coastal Carolina at Troy 3:30PM,ESPN+ ULM at Marshall 6:30PM,NFLN Old Dominion at App State 7:00PM,ESPN+ Georgia Southern at South Alabama 8:00PM,ESPNU

Have a minor change in My dream Sun Belt Football schedule for Week 10 Georgia State at UConn 7:00PM,CBSSN Friday 11/1 & MAC will fill CBSSN 3:30PM time slot Saturday 11/2 with Buffalo at Akron.

Z-Man–why do you keep doing this. Why do you always reply to these threads with this conference should add so and so?

Ugh. You’re entitled to post what you want, but this is old.

Sorry to outnumbered you Z-Man I rather be watching classic TV programs like Lost In Space,Gilligan’s Island & The Beverly Hillbillies rather than your old broken down editorials.
