The 2021 Sun Belt Football Helmet Schedule is now available. The PDF schedule features the team helmets, date, and opponent for each Sun Belt team.
The 2021 season gets underway for the Sun Belt Conference on Thursday, Sept. 2 when the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers host The Citadel Bulldogs. Also on Thursday, the Appalachian State Mountaineers face the East Carolina Pirates at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C.
Two Sun Belt teams are in action against Power Five teams during the opening weekend. The ULM Warhawks travel to face the Kentucky Wildcats while the Texas State Bobcats host the Baylor Bears.
Sun Belt Conference play kicks off on Saturday, Sept. 25 with Georgia Southern hosting Louisiana and ULM hosting Troy.
The 2021 Sun Belt Football Championship Game is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 4 and will be televised by ESPN at a time to be announced. The matchup will feature the two division winners at the home stadium of the team with the highest College Football Playoff ranking, if applicable, or a formula based on six computer ratings.
