The 2019 season gets underway for Conference USA on Thursday, Aug. 29 with three members in action. Charlotte hosts Gardner-Webb, FIU travels to face Tulane, and UAB hosts Alabama State.
A few Conference USA teams open the season with big non-conference challenges. Rice heads to West Point to take on Army (Friday), Florida Atlantic travels to Columbus to play Ohio State, Middle Tennessee heads to the Big House to face Michigan, and Louisiana Tech travels to Austin to play Texas.
The 2019 Conference USA Football Championship Game is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 7 at the home stadium of the division champion with the best winning percentage in league play. The game is slated to be televised by CBS Sports Network at 1:30pm ET.
