2018 Preseason AP Poll released

The 2018 Preseason AP Poll has been released and the Alabama Crimson Tide are ranked first. Alabama received 42 first-place votes and 1,505 total points.

Alabama is also ranked first in the Coaches Poll that was released on August 2.

Clemson comes in at number two in the AP Poll. The Tigers received 18 first place votes and 1,476 points overall. Georgia, Wisconsin (one first-place vote), and Ohio State round out the preseason AP Top 5.

The SEC and Big Ten lead all conferences with five teams in the AP Top 25 poll. The ACC, Big 12, and Pac-12 are second with four teams each, followed by the The American, Mountain West, and Independents with one each.

Why in the world does Texas always get votes in this thing? They’re looking at another 6 win season

As with every year ..Notre Dame and Michigan overrated, Boise State underrated…otherwise looks fairly good.
