With the completion of the 2016 regular season, the complete list of home and away 2017 NFL opponents has been determined.
Future NFL opponents are determined by a league rotation each year. The final two opponents are based on the league standings at the end of the season.
The complete 2017 NFL schedule will likely be released in mid-to-late April. The 2017 season kicks off on Thursday, September 7 and culminates with Super Bowl LII at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Might as well go ahead and change Los Angeles to LA Rams. ;)
Lord only knows what the Chargers will be this fall… LA Chargers. There’s a throwback!
Well hope this year goes well! Go vikes #SKOL
Arizona plays 2 games at Seattle.
makes you go hmm, how can that be?
That’s a typo. Count em — has Arizona playing 17 games and everyone else only playing 16. Maybe they ARE playing a 17th game, but no opponent…I’m inclined to take Arizona on that one.
No they only play one
45 years after, ‘phins in the limelights again!!
How does New England consistently draw relatively easy schedules?
How do you figure that ? Why do they consistently give Denver home games against the Patriots ? Denver won the Super Bowl in 2016……yet every important game against the best of the AFC were in Denver !
They played Houston, Denver and Pittsburgh on the road……….yet Denver…..who won the Super Bowl……..played every major AFC game at home (not counting division…..of which half are home games)
Criticism on how the schedule is made is misguided. There’s absolutely no subjectivity in the way the NFL schedule is made. It’s all a rotation of division A playing division B one year and division C the next, etc. The schedule is laid out for an indefinite number of future seasons because of this rotation system.
The only specific matchups that are not predetermined are two games which are determined by your previous year’s finish. As an example, the entire AFC East plays the entire AFC West. In addition NE’s first place 2016 finish matches them up with Houston and Pittsburgh in 2017 while the Dolphins play Tennessee and Baltimore. The home / away aspect of this piece, however, is predetermined as well.
Easy, not easy….Ryan, Brees, Rivers, Newton, Winston….tough QBs.
Rob, you are correct. Don, do your research. You can pull up your teams opponents for the next 3 yrs
Want to see Steelers at Los Angeles
I want the Steelers to go 0-16 and the Texans beat them in the 2017-2018 regular season in Houston
Hopefully the Rams win 10 games
I could see that happening
Well you changed the name on the top for the Chargers but you need to change everything else for who plays them next season
How many Los Angeles teams are we going to have
How many more Los Angeles teams are we going to have
I hope the Houston Texans win the division for the 3rd year in a row but the trash browns wont get in their way from another playoff appearance and faces new England for 3 years in a row from 2015-2017 regular season and that’s difficult. God bless everyone Go texans
Forgot to put that the history of Houston and New England in the past 7 meetings is New England is up 6-1 which I don’t like
What happened to 49ers this year ? they have a new Stadium but only 2 wins ….
Stefan from Germany
49ers only won 2 because they have a a anti American QB who sucks.
I can see the buc’ s going 9-7 maybe 10-6 and a wildcard team if we get a number 2 We and safety help either in the draft or free agency like Eric berry
There’s no reason the Texan don’t go all the way to the Super Bowl. They have the players good coaches ,all from New England. They should have beaten New England last year. Maybe a QB like T-R. Who knows what that could do. But they should try something before the window closes.
