2017-18 Bowl Schedule released

The 2017-18 College Football Bowl Schedule has officially been released by the Football Bowl Association. The FBA represents college football’s 40 postseason games.

With 40 total games including the College Football National Championship, 78 teams will play in a postseason game in 2017-18, which is 60% of the FBS.

The 2017-18 bowl season kicks off on Saturday, Dec. 16 with five FBS bowl games: R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl, AutoNation Cure Bowl, Las Vegas Bowl, Gildan New Mexico Bowl, and Raycom Media Camellia Bowl. In addition, teams from the MEAC and SWAC will meet in the Air Force Reserve Celebration Bowl.

On New Year’s Day (Monday, Jan. 1, 2018), the two College Football Playoff semifinal games will take place. Hosts this season are the Rose Bowl and the Allstate Sugar Bowl. The Rose Bowl begins at 5:00pm ET and is followed by the Sugar Bowl at 8:45pm.

The College Football National Championship Game concludes the college football season on Monday, Jan. 8, 2018 at 8:00pm. ET. The two playoff semifinal winners will meet at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
