2014-15 Bowl Schedule finalized

The 2014-15 College Football Bowl Schedule has been finalized after each conference officially announced their bowl invites.

Alabama, the top team in the College Football Playoff rankings, will play Ohio State in the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 1. The 2nd-ranked Oregon Ducks will take on Florida State in the Rose Bowl Game, also on Jan. 1.

The winners of Alabama-Ohio State and Oregon-FSU will meet in the College Football Championship Game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Monday, Jan. 12.

The remainder of the New Year’s Bowls also feature some intriguing match-ups:

  • Cotton – Baylor vs. Michigan State
  • Fiesta – Boise State vs. Arizona
  • Orange – Georgia Tech vs. Mississippi State
  • Peach – Ole Miss vs. TCU

The 2014-15 bowl season kicks off on Saturday, December 20 with the Gildan New Mexico Bowl in Albuquerque. This years match-up will feature Nevada vs. UL Lafayette (11am ET, ESPN).

New Year’s Eve features the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, Vizio Fiesta Bowl, and Capital One Orange Bowl. New Year’s Day includes the Outback Bowl (Auburn vs. Wisconsin), Goodyear Cotton Bowl, Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl (Missouri vs. Minnesota), Rose Bowl Game, and Allstate Sugar Bowl.
