Portland State at Washington on FX? Sweet!
that is must see TV!!!
I wonder who thought of doing that, anyone seriously going to watch that? Should have put Houston @ UCLA or Texas A&M @ SMU on FX instead of that crap game.
It helps the smaller school get known. True it might be one sided but if they keep it close it’s good for them. I’d watch the game
@AuzGrams I think the Pac-12 Network got to choose a game before FX that week, so they chose Houston-UCLA.
I suggest everyone go to http://www.the506.com/smf/index.php?board=9.0 for sports broadcasting news. That forum knows everything about this kind of stuff.
Glad to see Fox in the mix with college games, gives an alternate to the espn crooks. Thanks for the info. CSU vs CU is generally a good game as well as Stanford vs USC.
nothing can beat Portland State and UDub
Who are the announcers for the games now, are they moving Gus Johnson and Charles Davis to FOX and putting Craig Bolerjack and Joel Klatt on FX?
I am curious about the announcing crews too. Gus Johnson is one of the best in the business!
Gus Johnson’s team will be moving to Fox as the #1 team. I think the Bolerjack will be moved to the primary FX crew. And if FX has a second game, Joel Meyers and/or Steve Physioc will handle that game.
I am looking forward to the Nebraska @ UCLA game on September 8th.
LETS GO HUSKERS!
That Charleston-Illinois game just got circled on my must see games!
A good quantity of 1-AA teams there…….
I can’t wait to watch the portland state vs washington game.
Why no Big XII games on tv this year? Thought they had a contract with Fox, FX, FSN, etc.? And also, all of you are wrong, that Eastern Kentucky/Wisconsin matchup should be one hell of a game!!!
The Big 12 games haven’t been announced yet. FOX will broadcast around 165 games, this is only what they have announced so far.
Will these 7:30p/6:30p-CT broadcasts actually begin the game at that time, or will there be a 30-minute pre-game show, followed by the actual kick-off at about 5 minutes after the top of the hour?
Which FOX channel is covering the Nebraska game on September 8? I’m on dish and so far the game is not listed on any FOX channel.
The main FOX network.
Thanks, Jubs. However, I don’t know what the main FOX network is considered–136 has a movie scheduled, 418 has Kent State playing. Other Fox’s seem to have El Paso, Texas vs someone. Bo’s weekly show seems to be on 418. Since we’re playing UCLA, it seems we’d be on Fox California or Fox MW. 136 is considered the main Fox network, I think.I’ll call DISH Thursday and see if they can find it. Ugh, first I’ll have to explain what football is and go from there. Seems dish has outsourced a bit too much.
Nebr vs UCLA is on channel 11 (dish in Wyoming).
