The 2010 SEC Championship football game is set with the Auburn Tigers facing the South Carolina Gamecocks. The game will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. ET at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta (CBS).

The two teams met earlier this year on September 25 at Auburn. The Tigers beat the Gamecocks in that game 35-27.

Auburn is currently ranked second in each poll and has an 11-0 record (7-0 SEC). They clinched the SEC West title with a 49-31 win over Georgia.

South Carolina (7-3, 5-3 SEC) is currently ranked 22nd in the Coaches Poll, 22nd in the AP Poll and 23rd in the BCS. The Gamecocks clinched the SEC East title with a 36-14 win over Florida.

The Tigers lead the overall series against the Gamecocks 7-1-1.
