2010 Big 12 Championship Football Game – Nebraska vs. Oklahoma

The 2010 Big 12 Championship football game is set with the Nebraska Cornhuskers facing the Oklahoma Sooners. The game will be held on Saturday, December 4 at 7:00 p.m. ET at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas (ABC).

Nebraska (10-2, 6-2 Big 12) clinched the Big 12 North Division title after beating Colorado 45-17 on Friday. This will be the Cornhuskers’ sixth appearance in the championship game.

Oklahoma (10-2, 6-2 Big 12) beat in-state rival Oklahoma State 47-41 on Saturday. The win put them into a tie in the Big 12 South standings with Oklahoma State and Texas A&M. As a result, the BCS Standings were used as a tiebreaker.

The Sooners lead the overall series against the Cornhuskers 44-38-3. In their last meeting in 2009, Nebraska won 10-3 in Lincoln. The two schools previously met in the 2006 Big 12 Championship game, a 21-7 win for the Sooners.
