The Texas Longhorns have added the California Golden Bears and the Minnesota Golden Gophers to their future football schedules, the school announced last week.
Texas will host California in Austin on September 12, 2015. On September 10, 2016, the Longhorns will travel to Berkeley to face Cal.
The Longhorns and Golden Bears have played four times since 1959, but haven’t met since 1970. Texas leads the overall series 4-0.
On September 19, 2015, the Longhorns will travel to Minneapolis to face the Minnesota Golden Gophers. The Gophers will travel to face the Longhorns in Austin on September 17, 2016.
Texas and Minnesota have played one time, which was way back in 1936. The Gophers won that game 47-19 in Minneapolis.
