The Navy Midshipmen have posted their 2021 non-conference football schedule to their official website. The schedule includes games against Air Force, Army, Marshall, and Notre Dame.
Navy is set to kick off the 2021 season against the Marshall Thundering Herd on Saturday, Sept. 4. The game will be played at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland.
Navy begins their quest for another Commander in Chief’s Trophy when they host the Air Force Falcons on Oct. 2. Navy defeated Air Force 48-45 last season but still trails in the overall series 29-21.
The Midshipmen travel to take on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in South Bend on Saturday, Nov. 6. Notre Dame leads the series with Navy 76-13-1 and has won the last two meetings.
Navy’s final non-conference game in 2021 will be the 122nd edition of the Army-Navy Game. The annual rivalry game will be played on Dec. 11 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Last season, Navy fell to Army 14-13, marking their second-consecutive loss in the series.
Navy is set to open the 2018 season at the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors on Saturday, Sept. 1.
It must be a blessing and a curse that they only need to worry about scheduling 1 additional game a year with the conference games and AF/Army/ND locked in every year.
