The Navy Midshipmen have posted their 2018 non-conference football schedule to their official website. The schedule includes games against Air Force, Army, Hawaii, Lehigh, and Notre Dame.
Navy is set to open the 2018 season on Sept. 1 with a trip to face the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu. Navy won the last matchup with Hawaii 42-28 in Annapolis in 2013, but still trails in the overall series 1-2.
On Sept. 15, Navy hosts the Lehigh Mountain Hawks at Navy-Marine Corps. Memorial Stadium in Annapolis. The two schools have met 21 times with each game played at Navy. The Midshipmen lead the series 14-6-1.
The Midshipmen begin their quest for another Commander in Chief’s Trophy when they travel to face Air Force at Falcon Stadium in Colorado Springs, Colorado on Oct. 6. Navy trails in the overall series 19-28.
On Oct. 27, Navy will take on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at a site to be determined. Navy, who fell to the Irish 49-39 at FedExField last season, trail in the overall series 75-12-1.
Navy’s final 2018 non-conference game will be the 119th edition of the Army-Navy game. The annual rivalry game will be played on Dec. 8 at a site to be announced.
The Midshipmen have dominated the Black Knights of late, winning 13 consecutive match-ups to extend their lead in the series to 59-49-7.
Navy officially joins the American Athletic Conference on July 1, 2015. Conference opponents in 2018 include Houston, Memphis, Temple, and Tulsa at home and UCF, Cincinnati, SMU, and Tulane on the road.
The Midshipmen open the 2015 season at home vs. Colgate on Sept. 5.
Update (06/20/2017): Navy has modified their 2018 non-conference schedule. The Midshipmen will now open the 2018 season vs. Lehigh in week zero on Saturday, Aug. 25. All other dates remain the same.
