Black Knights, Midshipmen Face Off in 111th Army-Navy Game on Saturday

Army-Navy GameThe Army Black Knights and the Navy Midshipmen will face off on Saturday in the 111th edition of the Army-Navy game.  The game will kickoff at 2:30 p.m. ET at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia (CBS).

Navy leads the overall series 54-49-7. The Midshipmen have dominated the series lately, winning eight in a row and 11 of the last 13 games.

The Black Knights desperately need to generate some offense in this game. Over the past three games, Navy has beaten Army by a combined score of 89-6. Army is only 86th in total offense this year, but they have scored more than 20 points in every game except their 27-3 loss to Notre Dame.

Navy is 8-3 on the season with big wins over East Carolina, Notre Dame and Wake Forest. They will face the San Diego State Aztecs in the 2010 San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl on December 23.

Army is currently 6-5 and will play the SMU Mustangs in the 2010 Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl in Dallas on December 30.

The Army-Navy game is the final FBS regular-season game in 2010. The bowl season kicks off on Saturday, December 18 (2010 Bowl Schedule).
