The Iron Bowl, the annual rivalry game between the Auburn Tigers and Alabama Crimson Tide, is moving to Friday in 2009 and 2010. The 2009 game will be played on November 27 at 1:30 p.m. CT at Auburn’s Jordan-Hare Stadium. In 2010, the game will be played on November 26 at Alabama’s Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Both games will be televised by CBS. Under a 15-year contract extension with the SEC, the network has the first two picks for games on Thanksgiving weekend.
Auburn (2009 schedule) and Alabama (2009 schedule) have met a total of 73 times since 1893. The Crimson Tide leads the overall series 39-33-1, but Auburn has won 7 of the last 10 games.
Auburn has won 6 of the last 7 games so how is it Bama has won 7 of the last 10???
Sorry, I meant Auburn has won 7 of the last 10. I corrected the article.

The game being played on Friday is going to kill sales in Alabama. Way to up the economy!
