Arkansas Razorbacks complete 2012 football schedule

The Arkansas Razorbacks have completed their 2012 football schedule, which features games against Rutgers, Alabama, Auburn, LSU and Texas A&M.

Arkansas opens the 2012 season on Sept. 1 against Jacksonville State in Fayetteville. The following week, the Razorbacks host the ULM Warhawks at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock (Sept. 8).

The defending national champion Alabama Crimson Tide visit Fayetteville on Sept. 15, followed by the Rutgers Scarlet Knights on Sept. 22. A 2012-13 home-and-home series with Rutgers was announced this morning.

Arkansas will face SEC newcomer Texas A&M on Sept. 29 at a site that has yet to be determined. The game will be played at either Cowboys Stadium in Arlington or Kyle Field in College Station.

On Oct. 6, the Hogs travel to face Auburn before returning to Fayetteville to host Kentucky on Oct. 13.

After an open date, Arkansas hosts Ole Miss in Little Rock (Oct. 27) and Tulsa in Fayetteville (Nov. 3). The Razorbacks then hit the road for back-to-back SEC games at South Carolina (Nov. 10) and Mississippi State (Nov. 17).

The Razorbacks close out the 2012 regular season on Nov. 24 against the LSU Tigers in Fayetteville. The match-up will be the first played at Arkansas’ on-campus stadium since 1992. The date of the game could change to Fri., Nov. 23 due to television.

The 2012 SEC Championship Game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 1 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
