The Prairie View A&M Panthers have finalized their 2019 football schedule, FBSchedules.com has confirmed.

Prairie View A&M completed their schedule with the addition of a home contest against Edwards Waters College that is set for Nov. 16. The Panthers will not add an additional game and will stay with an 11-game slate, per the school.

PVAMU will open the 2019 season on the road with a Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) contest at the Texas Southern Tigers on Saturday, Aug. 31. The following week on Sept. 7, the Panthers open non-conference play at the Houston Cougars.

The first home contest for PVAMU is slated for Sept. 14 at Panther Stadium in Prairie View, Texas, against the Nicholls Colonels. Next, the Panthers travel to play the Alcorn State Braves on Sept. 21.

On Sept. 28, Prairie View A&M will battle Grambling State in the State Fair Classic at Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas, Texas. The game is set for a 5:00pm ET/4:00pm CT kickoff.

After their first of three open dates, Prairie View travels to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to take on the Southern Jaguars on Oct. 12.

PVAMU then hosts consecutive games at Panther Stadium, first against the Virginia-Lynchburg Dragons for Homecoming on Oct. 19. The Jackson State Tigers visit Prairie View the following week on Oct. 26.

After an open date on Nov. 2, Prairie View A&M again hosts back-to-back contests at Panther Stadium. The Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions visit on Nov. 9 followed by the Edwards Waters Tigers on Nov. 16.

PVAMU enjoys their final open date of the season on Nov. 23. The Panthers then travel to take on the Alabama State Hornets on Thursday, Nov. 28 to close out their 2019 schedule.

The 2019 SWAC Championship Game is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 7 at a site to be determined.
